Tuesday's Drink is Full of Grace...

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday...one more day closer to the weekend. It is not yet time for the crazy shots, nothing too complicated, and definitely not anything with a flame. Tuesday calls for a classic cocktail, a true grown up concoction.

Classic Old Fashioned

Getting Started:

2 oz. Bourbon
(Suggestion: Bulliet Rye or Knob Creek)
2 dashes of Bitters

Sugar cube

Splash of water

2 Cherries
(Take it up a notch and use brandied cherries!)

Orange twist

In the bottom of glass, preferably an old fashioned glass or a rocks glass, place your sugar cube, water and bitters, then add your cherries and orange twist, commence muddling. (Definition: To muddle is to combine ingredients, usually in the bottom of a mixing glass, by pressing them with a muddle before adding the majority of the liquid ingredients.) No muddle, no biggie...use a wooden spoon, the back of a regular spoon, the handle of a spatula, a chopstick, get creative! We are so close...fill the glass with ice, and top with the bourbon of your choice. Enjoy
